In-Person Transcript Requests

Submit in-person requests in the John Hubbard Hall (JHH) Lobby:

  • Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Friday.
  • Official Transcript order forms are available on the wall of the lobby. Complete the form and submit it with payment. Please present photo ID with the order form.

Students must clear holds on their records before the Transcript department will process an order. Current and recently enrolled students may check for holds on OASIS. In-person requests take five minutes to process (30 minutes for records prior to 1980).

Important Note: If the transcript should not be sent until pending grades or degrees are posted, please indicate on the order that the transcript should be held for grades and/or degrees to be posted.

Third-Party Requests:
The student must provide written authorization designating a third-party representative as his or her agent. The third party must also present photo ID and a photocopy of the record owner's valid photo ID.

Fees for Transcripts:
$10 per transcript.

Methods of Payment:
Personal checks (payable to the "University of Southern California"), U.S. money orders, USCard, and the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard and Discover. Cash is not accepted.

Special Handling Services:
Please submit requests by 3 p.m. PT.

Same-day processing: $7 per destination, plus the document fee.
Students may request to pick up Official Transcripts in the John Hubbard Hall (JHH) Lobby at no additional charge.

Overnight Express: $18 per destination, plus transcript fee.
You may request this service for overnight delivery within the continental United States only.

Express Mail: $40 per destination, plus transcript fee.
You may request this service for express delivery outside the continental United States only.

Checking the status of your transcript request: Tracking is not available for orders placed in person or by mail. To check the status of your order, please call the Transcript department at (213) 740-7445.
